Tomorrow Ready: Nourishing Families, Strengthening Community

“These drop-offs mean I don’t have to go hungry,” said one OCH tenant. The Tomorrow Ready: Khalsa-Aid Food Drop-off Program provides food and hygiene supplies to tenants who need it most.
This program makes a powerful impact by providing essential food and hygiene supplies to tenants in high-need communities.
This program offers both relief and hope. It aims to fill the gap between the support that local organizations and food banks offer. With an average monthly income of $1,775, food prices are a major concern for OCH tenants.
By the numbers:
- 18 aid drops in 2024 → 920 tenants supported
- 8 packages delivered in 2025 → 400 tenants supported
For many residents, these deliveries are far more than a convenience—they are a lifeline. One tenant shared, “I can finally cook for my kids again with items like pasta sauce and peanut butter.” Another added, “Fresh produce is so expensive. This makes it possible for me to eat healthy.”
This program requires the support of the OCH Foundation, OCH Community Developers and Khalsa Aid. It does more than fill cupboards. It restores dignity, builds connection, and shows tenants that their community truly cares.
With up to ten more deliveries planned in the coming months, the Tomorrow Ready Food Drop-off Program will continue to ensure that residents have the resources they need not just to get by—but to thrive.
